I be-lie-ve (currently) that magick is a tool, and I choose my tools so as to be appropriate for the job in hand. I don’t fire off a sigil when I want to speak to a close friend, I send them a text or give them a call. One should have a plethora of tools and skills to choose from; it’s a rich world with multivariate challenges and solutions.
Magick is also an approach to life perhaps; religion is another, art another, science another, philosophy yet another. They don’t have to be distinct; approaches can be complementary and can be blended.
